Life Update - Adoption #3
Hello everyone,
I hope you are all doing well. Remember to wash your hands thoroughly and stay home if you are not feeling well.
It has been a while since my last post and let's just say that things changed dramatically, in a good way, since last week.
Clearly, from the title, you can already guess that we have adopted again!!! It was another SURPRISE baby and this time, within approximately three hours, we had adopted our son. We are still on that high but also a little nervous about what is to come ahead with three children under the ages of two and a half.
Since his adoption, which will only be finalized in a couple of months, it has been a little nerve wracking since he is currently in the NICU. He was born prematurely and so, it will be a few weeks before we can even think of bringing him home.
In some way, it's helping us to figure out what we still need for him and how to organize ourselves. What we need is pretty minor as we have a lot from Thomas...still, we do need to start prepping for him - crib, changing pad, clothes (he is much smaller) and then, do we want family to come over and visit with all this Coronavirus going around.
Anyways, just wanted to share the big news and give a head's up that my post may not be as regular as they usually tend to be.
We ask for prayers for our son and his birthmom.
